Here's my perfectly good excuse for not writing til now... We haven't had internet! In order to post on my blog I have to have internet and I just haven't.
Well now I do.
I've wanted so much to write lately since we're expecting our little boy in a month and I haven't wanted to forget anything... well too late for that since I haven't written in my entire pregnancy. So to sum it up. First trimester wasn't too bad. I was emotional and hormonal as to be expected. I didn't really crave anything except that I liked bland foods! I loved getting subway sandwiches and never going to the taco bus. Chase was depressed about that, he only ever wants to go to the taco bus :). Banana's were too gooey and gross to enjoy. I was all about oatmeal and blueberries which I'm still all about it! Love fruit. That's been a constant in this pregnancy. I also really like potato wedges and baked potatoes, basically bland foods. I had the roughest go with brushing my teeth that first trimester... I wanted to puke every time! I gagged while brushing my teeth unless I really focused and made it quick. Chase was just reminding me the other day how he would hear me yell from the bathroom out of frustration "Are you kidding me?!" right after I had a gagging moment. I'm sure glad that is over. Second trimester was easy. I was afraid that I was going to have gestational diabetes since I had sugar in my urinalisis at most appointments. I prayed and worked hard not to have it, not that I could have really stopped it. I saw a midwife before that 28 week appointment and she told me that there was nothing I could do and that I was gaining too much weight.... That was the end of that. I'll stick with the doctors thank you. My test came up negative and this pregnancy has been pretty uneventful thank goodness! The third trimester is just getting uncomfortable as bending over is so much effort, putting shoes on, sitting too long, sleeping etc. But we're getting excited to meet our new little friend and can't wait for him to come! We're at 35 and a half weeks and things are coming along quite nicely. My dear coworkers threw me a baby shower a couple of weeks ago and it was the sweetest surprise. I cried :) oh so normal! So we're getting things prepped for our little boy (Heath, Lincoln, Cole or Noah) and we're hoping all goes well!
