What have been the most important and valued friendships in my life?

So here's one for the history.

I think that in my life some of my most valued friendships have been those of my family. It's always been important to me and still is.

Mom and Adam.
I think of my mom and brother and how growing up we were all we had. I spent a lot of time with friends and they would tell me that but even now when I think back the memories I had with mom and Adam are the ones that come to mind.

Cousins.
This makes me think of my aunt Susan, Uncle Phillip and their kids (while I lived in UT). My aunt Denise, Uncle Mark and their kids (When I moved to SV and now). These 2 families have been so close to me and made me feel like I'm more than just a cousin. These are relationships I honestly cherish. They mean more to me than I think I give them credit for.

My grandma.
It's funny. When I think of friendship with my grandma that doesn't come freely to my mind but when you think what friendship is she is one of my very good friends. Living with her for 5ish years was such a blessing to me. She has done so much for me and I love my memories with her. I feel very lucky to be as close as we are.

I moved a lot when I was younger so I  have no friends from my youth. Since having FB I have found a couple of friends from Layton but our lives are so different that we really have no contact other than seeing one another's newsfeeds. I still have a few friends from High School but mainly my college days have produced my best friends. I consider that I have 4 best friends who I love to keep contact with and we have done stuff to keep close. I love them and hope and believe they will be my life long friends.

Having friendships and close relationships are so important to me. I think because I have felt a lack of need or importance in my life, when I feel that from someone I cling to that relationship because it brings me so much happiness. Everyone needs someone they love and who loves them back.

These relationships reciprocate the way I feel about the person. When someone takes time to come see me or call me to check on me it means so much to me.  Especially when that call or text or whatever comes out of nowhere. I value the time spent by the person to do those things. Also I appreciate when we can pick up where we left off even if it's been years that we haven't seen or spoke. I love getting opinions and counsel from those I admire, it's important to me to trust and have confidence in these individuals. I also love when those people come to me for counsel and opinions. The mutual aspect is very important to me.

My best friend is definitely my Chasey Boy.
I love to spend my time with him and often seek his counsel. Without our friendship marriage would be much different. I can't imagine it honestly.  I love my time with him and value it. Our relationship is mutual and that's why it is my most favorite and valued relationship.
